Chief Pilot:

Baron Aviation Services has an opening for the position of Chief Pilot. We are a Part 135 Cargo Only carrier based in Rolla, Missouri. We operate 37 Cessna Caravans on contract with FedEx operating in the Central and Southern United States. This is a great opportunity to join a company in business for over 48 years. Qualified candidates must meet the requirements of Part 119. Possess a minimum of Commercial certificate with Instrument rating, current second class medical, and able to qualify as PIC in the Caravan. Candidates must have 3 years experience as Pilot in Command of an aircraft under Part 121 or Part 135. This experience must be within the last 6 years for a first ever Chief Pilot. Possess good computer skills and a working knowledge of Word and Excel. Pass a standard 10 year background check and pre-employment drug test.

Major Responsibilities Include:

Maintaining the pilot staff including recruiting, hiring, discipline, and dismissal.
Organizing, planning, and conducting pilot training
Conducting and assigning check rides for the pilots
Assisting with the daily operations of the company.

Mechanic

Baron Aviation is seeking A & P mechanic in MEMPHIS, TN and ALLIANCE FORT WORTH, TX. Duties include, inspecting, troubleshooting and repair of aircraft. Managing airplane maintenance records, researching airworthiness directives/regulations and coordinating compliance.

Strong mechanical aptitude

Job Requirements:
Airframe and Power Plant License
High School diploma or eq.
Airframe and Power plant Technician rating 3 years minimum maintenance lead level experience on annual, Phase/Mini Check, or other AAIP inspection program. Line maintenance experience for part 135 or 121 operations. Experience in trouble shooting airplane systems including electrical, engine and avionics.

Preferred experience:
Previous comprehensive experience with Cessna model 208B aircraft and Pratt & Whitney PT6A-114A engine including Honeywell autopilot and Garmin GNS/G600 systems
